Teenager saved by fast action on Lake Taneycomo

BRANSON, Mo. (AP) – A teenager who fell out of a canoe on Lake Taneycomo was saved by fast action from firefighters.

KYTV-TV reports that firefighters with the Western Taney County Fire District were called Sunday afternoon after several teenagers fell out of their canoes.

All but one was able to make it back to shore. Firefighters were able to rescue the teenager, who was taken to a Branson hospital for examination.

There was no immediate report on the teen’s condition.
