Missouri mega vaccination site information

Between the Arrowhead Stadium event and other events over the weekend, more than 8-thousand were FULLY vaccinated with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine in the Kansas City area.

The state will innoculate more than 14,000 people in the St. Louis region at several events this week. The Missouri National Guard, local health workers and state emergency management personnel will staff sites in St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County.

Governor Mike Parson says more vaccine means more large-scale events in the big cities.

“Now when you go to rural Missouri, a lot of these counties, a county of 30,000 people, for the most part, they are going to be able to handle that on the local level, through their pharmacies, through their local health departments. We’re not going to have to use the National Guard and our resources. Now we can start putting more resources into the urban areas,” Parson said at the Arrowhead stadium event.
