Seasonal jobs open with the City of Joplin

Jobs!  As the pandemic eases and the economy improves, they are coming back.

The Joplin Parks and Recreation Department, has quite a few jobs open on a seasonal basis.

These are great for young people and nearly anyone.

The city plans to hire seasonal laborers to do mowing and other gardening duties at the city’s cemeteries, golf courses and other properties

Also needed are lifeguards – up to 100 in all – at the aquatic centers.

The jobs offer from 20 to 40 hours of employment per week. Some of the jobs have not started yet but they will in the near future.
