Charlie Davis against Federal house bill HR1

The U.S. House of Representatives passed Wednesday evening what is called the “For The People Act of 2021”, a Democrat backed package of election and campaign finance law changes.  

The Jasper County Clerk, Charlie Davis, is not happy with the bill.   “Let me tell you how much that concerns me.  That in itself is a slap in the face of our founding fathers who created an absolute wonderful form of government . . . and for them to change those laws or the rules is going to be bad for the people of Missouri and our country.”

Davis was a guest on the Thursday KZRG Morning News Watch.   Democrats describe the bill as a response to what they call Republican attempts at the state level to restrict voting rights.
