Webb City gas leak

A gas leak was reported in Webb City this morning.   

City Administrator Carl Francis telling Newstalk KZRG that workers clearing land for a new parking lot at the Webb City City Hall hit what was thought to be an old non working gas line that ended up being active, causing a gas leak.  The incident caused the city hall to be evacuated for about an hour while repairs were made. 

No injuries and no damage were reported.   Work has already started back up on the new parking lot site.
