Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigating trooper related shooting
The incident occurred Wednesday
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a trooper involved shooting in Vici on February 26, according to a media release.
The Western District United States Marshals Service Requested the assistance of the Tactical Team around 2:45 Wednesday afternoon with a suspect barricaded inside a house.
The suspect was wanted on a felony warrant out of Canadian County.
Negotiations with the barricaded suspect lasted for several hours. The suspect exited the house around 5:15 PM with a firearm.
Members of the OHP tactical team fired their weapons.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
No troopers or assisting law enforcement were hurt.
