Man from Oklahoma confesses to killing neighbor, cutting her heart out, and cooking it.
The incident happened February 9.
A man from Oklahoma suspected of killing three people recently confessed to killing his neighbor, cutting out her heart, and then cooking it to feed his family.
Reports from the Oklahoman say that Lawrence Anderson allegedly stabbed 41-year-old Andrea Lynn Blankenship to death in her Chickasha home on Feb. 9.
In a search warrant obtained by the publication, an agent said “He took the heart back to 214 West Minnesota, Chickasha.
Also in the search warrant was the comment, “He cooked the heart with potatoes to feed to his family to release the demons.”
Before the incident, Anderson had been staying at the 214 West Minnesota address with his aunt, Delsie Pye, and uncle, Leon Pye, after he was released early from prison in January.
After he left Blankenship’s home, 42-year-old Lawrence Anderson went back to Pye’s home and cooked the heart with the intention of feeding it to his aunt and uncle.
Afterward, he allegedly killed 67-year-old Leon Pye and his 4-year-old granddaughter, Kaeos Yates, and then stabbed his aunt, according to the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation.
Anderson’s aunt survived the attack. He was arrested later that day.
Authorities were alerted to Blankenship’s body two days after the event when Anderson confessed at a hospital in Oklahoma City.
