SWAT team used to breach Joplin residence early Sunday morning.
A SWAT team was used to deal with uncooperative occupants of the Joplin residence 1510 South Pitcher around 2 AM Sunday morning.
Reports say that the JPD was responding to a call involving potential Disturbance with a Weapon.
When Police arrived on location, the residents were uncooperative with the authorities’ directions.
After verbal instruction to leave the residence was given, some occupants began to walk out.
Others remained inside, which required the SWAT team to assist with the detainment process.
After all the events had transpired, nine people were taken in custody from the residence, according to reports.
Two were arrested on outstanding warrants.
The investigation is ongoing.
