Joplin death investigation

What was an assault investigation is now a death investigation.   Joplin police reported the death of 63 year old Ann McCrary who was found with severe injuries by police in her home at 320 South Wall Avenue back on January 18th.

Arrested was 38 year old Casey Malone of Joplin, originally on domestic assault charges.

McCrary died on Sunday.   An autopsy is scheduled for today in Ozark Missouri.
