Semi-trailer completely destroyed after Saturday morning fire.

A tractor-trailer fire occurred early Saturday morning at 5:30 AM, according to reports.

The fire took place in the 7500 block of E. 26th street in the Crossroads Industrial Park. 

Joplin Police, Joplin Fire Department, and METS ambulance responded to the scene.

Authorities say the trailer was empty. 

The driver was previously traveling down the road when they noticed smoke and flames and pulled the vehicle off the side of the road.

The trailer was destroyed in the fire.

The fire was taken care of by 6:45 AM.
