The Joplin Fire Department dealt with several fires over the weekend.
On Saturday at 6:32 AM, The Joplin Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 409 E 8th Street.
The first crew arrived at 6:35 AM at a single-story automotive repair facility.
After the fire was extinguished, public works were called to partially demolish a building and assist with searching for hot spots.
Crews remained on scene until 9:46 AM.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
The cause of the fire was ruled accidental.
As crews were leaving the scene of the fire, smoke was noticed coming from a storage shed nearby
Crews stayed at the scene and dealt with that fire and remained at the scene until 10:05 AM.

On Saturday at 8:37 PM, The Joplin Fire Department responded to a fire at 2702 23rd Street.
The crew arrived at 8:41 PM to find a single-story residential fire with smoke coming from the garage.
All occupants were outside when crews arrived.
Crews remained on scene until 9:29 PM.
The fire was ruled accidental in nature.

On Sunday at 2:40 AM, the Joplin Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 200 E Zora.
The crew arrived to find a single-story mobile home with smoke showing.
All occupants were outside.
The fire was dealt with and crews left the scene until 4:15 AM.
The cause of the fire was ruled undetermined.
