Sunday night crash claims three lives.

A Sunday night crash took the lives of all three involved just after 9 PM in Lawrence County on I-44 Westbound, 5 miles east of Mount Vernon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that 85-year-old Billings resident Evert Hair traveled into oncoming traffic and struck vehicle 2 driven by 17-year-old Izik Fudge head-on.

Also in Fudge’s vehicle was 17-year-old Navaeh Aust.

Both were Mount Vernon residents.

Fudge and Aust were both wearing their safety devices, Hair was not.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
