Alleged threat at Vinita High School cleared
Vinita High School in northeastern Oklahoma was put on lockdown for several hours Monday after police got word of alleged threats towards students at the school.
Police say the high school was eventually cleared and that there was no evidence that any student, faculty member, or other staff was in any danger at any time.
Multiple people were questioned as the investigation continues but there were no reports of injuries or gunshots fired.
Classes will resume as normal Tuesday.
