Parent seeks action over student wearing Confederate flag mask during school.

A concerned parent told published sources that a student showed up to her child’s school wearing a confederate mask and was allowed to continue wearing the mask throughout the entire day in Oakville, MO.

The school began looking into the issue when the parent contacted administrators at the school after her daughter texted her while in her 4th-period class.

A video was posted on social media that showed the incident.

The parent Tamica Harding, who is African American. said that her daughter felt frightened, hurt, and intimidated because of the incident.

Reports also say that two hours had passed before Harding got a response from the administration.

It was eventually determined that the student had left the building to attend an off-campus program.
