Covid-19 related deaths rise to 3,000 in Oklahoma.
The number of people in Oklahoma who have had Covid-19 be a significant contributor to their deaths is getting closer to 3,000.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health Sunday reported 35 more deaths due to the virus, which brings the total to 2,987 since the pandemic began last year.
There were 3,314 additional cases reported by the Oklahoma Health Department on Sunday.
Johns Hopkins University researchers say that over the past two weeks, the average number of daily new cases for Oklahoma has had an increase of 1,034.7, or 37.1%.
