Arrest warrant issued for assault suspect.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a Springfield man who wielded a gun as he forced his way into a Lamar home.

On 01/08/21, Gage M Walker, 23 of Springfield Mo., and a female, had been at Downstream Casino when the two got into a fight and were forced by security to leave the property. Later, Gage Walker attempted to force his way into a residence in Lamar Mo, where he believed the female was at that time. A male at the residence attempted to stop Walker from entering. A fight occurred between the two as Walker tried to get into the home. Walker then produced a pistol and shot at the male. The male was not struck by the gunfire and not seriously injured.
An arrest warrant for 1st degree assault has been issued for Gage M. Walker. He was last seen in a light blue small car described as a Honda or Toyota with Oklahoma plates. The vehicle is reported to have a large dent in the driver’s side rear fender.
