Pearl Avenue will be closed starting Jan 8.

The new Jasper County Courthouse in the 600 block of Pearl Avenue will close off a portion of Pearl Avenue will be permanently closed.

Starting January 8th, Pearl Avenue will be closed from 6th to 7th streets as the building construction begins.

Drivers should use caution when traveling near this area.
