Pearl Avenue closing north of 7th Street intersection

The new Joplin Courts building project will be closing off Pearl Avenue north of 7th Street permanently in the near future.    The new courts building will actually be built across what is now the roadway.    Construction is set to start soon in an area along 7th street from Byers Avenue to Wall Avenue extending north to 6th Street.   Public parking will not be available next to the current courts building during construction.    The project is expected to take about 2 years to complete.
