Missouri prosecutor passes away from Covid-19 days after giving birth.

A Missouri prosecutor passed away due to complications with Covid-19 just days after giving birth, according to published sources.

32-year-old JoEllen Engelbart, who was an assistant prosecutor for Jackson County near Kansas City, had been fighting the virus for two weeks when she finally died on Sunday.

Previously in her battle with Covid, Engelbart had given birth to a boy named Ross, whom was delivered three months prematurely on Dec. 29.

Engelbart is survived by newborn Ross and her husband Matt.
