Walmart Foundation donating $12 million to Feeding America

Walmart will help with the increased fight against hunger this holiday season.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic making more people at risk for hunger, the Walmart Foundation is donating $12 million over two years to Feeding America.

Feeding America is the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

In 2019, Walmart donated more than 28.2 million pounds of food to local food banks.

So far this year, more than 5,000 hunger relief organizations in the U.S. have received support from Walmart.
