The Newton County Health Department has more deaths to report due to Covid-19.

As of Thursday, four more deaths have been recorded.

The victims were two men, one in his 70’s and the other in his 60’s. Two females also died, both in their 80’s.

The county’s death total due to Covid-19 rises to 61.

As of Thursday, Newton County has 3620 cases. 362 cases are in quarantine, with 25 still hospitalized.
