The Neosho City Council will consider the implementation of a mask mandate tonight.
With increasing infection numbers and area hospitals making pleas for mandatory safety precautions, the Neosho City Council will discuss ordinances for mandatory face masks and occupancy limits during their Tuesday night meeting.
The meeting will take place at the Civic Center on W. Main St. at 7 p.m.
The expiration date for the ordinances would be Feb. 12, unless they are terminated or extended before that date.
These considerations come nearly a month after Joplin approved its mask ordinance.
