Public hearing slated for next Friday on County Budget

The Jasper County Commission has a public hearing slated for 9 a.m. next Friday, Dec. 18 at the Jasper County Courthouse in Carthage.

The purpose of the meeting is for the Jasper County Auditor to present the 2021 Final Budget.

Commissioners say all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning their views on the proposed budget.

Last year’s budget totaled just over $48 million.
