An armed robbery took place in Joplin Saturday.

Right at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 5th, Joplin Police responded to a call of a Strong Armed Robbery at Southwest Missouri Bank on 2530 Rangeline, according to Captain William Davis with the JPD.

The suspect is a black male described as wearing:

-black mask and sunglasses,

-black hat

-suit coat

-black dress pants.

He traveled west from the bank, according to the Joplin Police Department.

No one was injured.
