Covid patients monitored at home

Not all covid patients need to be hospitalized.   Mercy Hospital Joplin has started a home monitoring system for covid patients that don’t need hospitalization.   The system keeps track of all of the patient’s vital signs, 24 hours a day, so that if changes in treatment are needed, they can be made.   Mercy Hospital Joplin has been using this system for chronically ill patients since 2015 and recently added covid care.     Freeman Health System is also using a home monitoring system to help out covid patients.
