Blunt touts development of vaccine through Operation Warp Speed

In Washington, D.C. on Thursday, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt highlighted Operation Warp Speed’s role in accelerating the development and manufacturing of coronavirus vaccines.

“In our country,” Senator Blunt said, “Operation Warp Speed accelerated the development of this new vaccine that could really be described with one word – unprecedented.”

Blunt urged Congress to reach an agreement on another COVID-19 relief bill to provide much-needed aid to Americans and ensure the federal government has the resources necessary to continue to develop, manufacture, and distribute vaccines.
