Thursday night pursuit in Joplin ends with a crash.

Before 10 P.M. Thursday night, a driver was driving erratically and a traffic stop was attempted by Joplin Police around West 7th and Picher.

The driver declined to stop and instead continued through the North Heights Neighborhood and then into Roanoke. The vehicle finally crashed into a parked car in the 800 north block, after being pursued by Joplin Police.

The driver, an 18-year-old male, was extracted after about 20 minutes. He will be charged with DWI, with other charges pending.

No one else was harmed in the incident.
