Empty Bowls help feed the hungry
UPDATE 3:30 PM: 150 bowls are left with plenty of soup left as well! They will be there until 7pm! Come get a bowl of soup for $5 without buying a bowl.
The 8th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser benefits local charities feeding the poor. For a minimum $20 donation, you’ll receive a serving of soup to go in a keepsake, artisan bowl and will help raise enough money to fight hunger year round.
In addition to our most important goal of feeding the hungry, the event brings attention to the beautiful pottery of many “starving artists” in our region.
The Day of the Event
Place: Joplin Empire Market (931 E 4th St, Joplin, MO)
Time: Thursday, November 19th, 11am – 7pm
Donation: $20 minimum per bowl
