Sunday Kansas stabbing being investigated.

Witchita, Kansas police are currently investigating the stabbing death of a man that took place Sunday morning at 1:20 am inside a home around South Washington.

Officers responded to the scene where they found a 59-year-old man with several stab wounds. It was determined that he had died at the scene.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.

Police say an investigation revealed that the victim was visiting the home when a fight began with a 34-year-old suspect.

During the disturbance, the suspected individual pulled a knife and stabbed and slashed the victim before they fled from the scene. Police are still searching for the suspect.
