Oklahoma governor puts new restrictions on bars, restaurants amid surge
(AP) Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt is imposing new restrictions on bars and restaurants and requiring masks in state buildings as officials attempt to control the surging number of coronavirus infections. Stitt announced Monday plans to require bars and restaurants statewide to have all tables spaced six feet apart and to close in-person service at 11 p.m. He said he also wants all public schools in Oklahoma to return to in-person learning after Christmas break. Oklahoma reported 2,729 new confirmed cases of coronavirus on Monday and ten additional deaths. Oklahoma also reported 1,249 people hospitalized on Sunday.
