Nevada R-5 grades 6-12 mask mandate starts today

Today is the first day of the mask mandate period for Nevada R-5 grades 6-12.

The school district states that all students who enter school buildings will remain masked while in classroom settings.

They also mention that students will be required to wear masks that cover the mouth and nose simultaneously. Masks will be provided to students that don’t have one.

Lastly, the district expects masks to be worn in halls and classrooms at all times.
