MHA letter to Gov. Parson urges statewide mask mandate

“The wolf is at the door.”

That was the message conveyed in a letter from the Missouri Hospital Association to Missouri Gov. Mike Parson about COVID-19.

The letter, dated last Friday and signed by MHA President and CEO Herb Kuhn, told Parson that “the wolf is at the door” regarding the state of COVID-19 in Missouri.

Kuhn’s letter said metrics show the virus is worse now in Missouri than it was last spring.

The letter asked Gov. Parson to take immediate action by issuing a statewide mask mandate – something that, so far, Gov. Parson has refused to do.
