City of Joplin and Freeman Health System announces Christmas Parade date.
The City of Joplin and Freeman Health System announced today that this year’s Christmas Day Parade will be on December 1st.
The details were announced today at a press conference by Freeman Health System President and Chief Executive Officer Paula Baker at 11 am.
“So as the mayor alluded to, this year the Joplin Christmas Parades going to be a little different than it’s been in the past. We’re going to accommodate social distancing and other safety factors. So our floats and entertainers will be parked on each side of the main street. The spectators will drive through the parade slowly. At the end of the parade, Santa is gonna be stationed inside the park.”
