Tulsa auto theft suspect shot by police

An auto theft suspect in Tulsa was fatally shot Thursday by officers when the man tried to run them over with a pickup truck.    Officer Jeanne Pierce said police found the man at a hotel.   The suspect got into a pickup truck and rammed a police vehicle.   He then tried to run over the officers when they got out of their vehicle.   The four officers then opened fire, killing the man.  The man’s name has not been released.    The four officers are on paid leave while the FBI investigates the shooting.
