Three sex offenders face charges after being caught outside on Halloween evening.
Three McDonald County sex offenders were not able to pass a compliance check on Halloween and will face pending charges.
Law enforcement officers checked on 35 sex offenders in the McDonald County area from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm on the 31st.
Additionally, Jasper County authorities conducted 123 compliance checks and found seven violations. There were also three cases where sex offenders no longer lived at the registered addresses.
These individuals are subject to State Statute 589.426, which states that sexual offenders are required to avoid all Halloween-related contact with children, must remain inside their residence that night, and other guidelines.
