She was missing for 6 weeks after disappearing seemingly without a trace. Then on Monday she turned herself in to authorities in Wisconsin. Yesterday, Leora Hardee was reunited with her family.
Joplin Police Department Captain William Davis tells news talk KZRG, “Throughout Monday and into Tuesday we were working with Wisconsin officials on plans to get her home, and I can say that she has been returned home and has been reunited with her family.”
Captain Davis also said that the investigation isn’t over yet,”we had an investigator that we sent to Wisconsin to do follow up and try to help determine her disappearance and we are hoping we will have more information that can be released in the near future.”
