Walmart taking down gun and ammunition displays amidst potential election turmoil
With just days to go before people head to the polls for voting, Walmart is making some display changes. The corporation has removed guns and ammunition from public viewing as a precautionary measure. There are fears that people may attempt to break into the stores and steal these items if any civil unrest occurs due to the result of the presidential election.
Customers can still purchase these items in the Walmart stores that sell them, but they won’t be displayed for the public.
