Carthage High School sees a rise in Covid -19 cases

Covid-19 cases continue to rise for Carthage High School, with eleven more students testing positive for Covid-19 and 95 still in quarantine. In the district, 14 students have coronavirus, with one student testing positive at Columbia Elementary, Carthage Intermediate School, Carthage Junior High, and a Steadley Elementary staff member testing positive as well. 

In the district, the number of students currently under quarantine jumped from 73 to 184 in the past week. These school buildings in the district had students in quarantine: Carthage Junior High had 33, Carthage Intermediate Center has 29, Steadley Elementary had 9, the Sixth Grade Center had 7, the Early Childhood Center had 4, Mark Twain Elementary had 3, Columbian Elementary had 2, Fairview Elementary had 2.
