New mural added to the Joplin Arts District

Art comes in many forms and is often created in collaboration with several people. The Joplin Art District had Andrew Batcheller and Linda Tasseri, two painters from the Joplin and Springfield areas, create a mural that shows off the artistic side of the Joplin Arts District. “We wanted to celebrate all that happens in the art district and make something that grabs people’s attention. Hey! Your entering this area and this is some of what you’ll see through the whole district,”Tasseri told KZRG,” More color, more art, more magic.” The two artists finished the mural Thursday evening.
