Woman driving wrong way on Interstate involved in head-on crash, 4 killed
Investigators seek information on driver . . . .
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Investigators are seeking additional information on Ashley Louise Ricks, age 33, after a head on collision that killed four people.
Ricks was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-40 approximately 3.5 miles west of El Reno October 17 around 1:30 a.m. when she crashed head on into another vehicle, killing all 4 occupants of that vehicle.
Positive identification of those individuals is pending information from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Ricks was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Investigators are looking into the possibility that Ricks was impaired. 911 calls show she was driving the wrong way on I-40 for more than 10 miles.
