News Joplin MOTrending
The search continues
The search for a missing 14-year-old girl will continue after local and federal authorities were unsuccessful on the second consecutive day of foot searches in north Joplin.
Joplin police Capt. William Davis tells News Talk KZRG that there were no findings from searches for Leora Hardee Monday or Tuesday. He said investigators are planning their next move and could have an announcement soon.
Leora has been missing for 13 days and law enforcement representatives from the FBI, Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, Joplin Police Department, Carthage Police Department, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are conducting intensive searches. Search dogs have also been used.
