Halloween tips from One For All

Fall is here and Halloween isn’t far behind. Unfortunately, Covid-19 will still be around by the time our communities are getting ready for trick or treating. One For All’s Missouri campaign’s public health officials want to share some tips and guidelines for adapting Halloween traditions to celebrate safely this year. They suggest trick-or-treating in your house rather than your neighborhood. Organize a more distant costume parade in your area.  Consider having physically distanced outdoor gatherings with friends.

If you decided to give out candy, make sure candy is pre packaged. Wear a mask when trick-or-treaters stop at your door. Also, you can place hand sanitizer nearby and re-sanitize after giving out candy. Wear facemasks whenever possible. Wash your hands before eating candy. If you’re feeling ill or showing symptoms of covid-19, stay inside on Halloween. For more safety tips, visit to oneforallmo.com.
