Kansas woman found dead in her home

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Elk County Sherriff’s office are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in Longton, Kansas. Around  10:05 a.m. Thursday, a 911 call reported a death to the Elk County Sherriff’s Office and they were dispatched. When deputies arrived, they discovered a resident of the home, 34-year-old Amy R Lammon, was deceased inside. Lammon was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with more information about this crime is asked to call the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME.
