Woman killed in Kansas City Thursday morning

A woman was shot to death inside a home in Kansas City Thursday morning. Officers responded to a 911 call around 4am reporting that a woman had been shot. The police found the victim with a gunshot wound in the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her name was not released. Officers received a call not long after from a man from another location. The individual said he wanted to turn himself in and was taken into custody. His name has not been released either.
