66 to 44 ramp closed next week near Joplin

TRAFFIC ALERT: Eastbound

Starting next week, and lasting until October 1 the Route 66-to-Eastbound I-44 Flyover Ramp Near Joplin will be closed. Starting Monday September 28 the ramp will be completely closed as MoDOT crews start repairing and sealing the driving surface of the ramp. All lanes will remain closed ‘round the clock. Drivers should find an alternate route.

Traffic Impacts:

• All lanes of eastbound Missouri Route 66-to-eastbound I-44 flyover ramp CLOSED
• Lane will remain closed ‘round the clock to allow sealing material to cure properly
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers in advance of the closed ramp
• No signed detours
• Drivers should find alternate route
