“Veteran-Build” home dedication for Joplin family tomorrow
The dedication of a “Veteran Build” home for the Arnold family will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 1301 New Hampshire Ave. in Joplin.
Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity was able to build this home for the Arnold Family thanks to grants from the General Mills Foundation.
Partner family, Jesse and Breanna Arnold, will be congratulated as they show their appreciation to those who helped build their home.
This home is part of the Veteran Build program. Jesse is a veteran who served in the Marines for four years.
“Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity is blessed to have several great partners in the Jasper County area, one of which is General Mills,” said Scott Clayton, Executive Director. “Through grants and volunteerism they have been a supporter of our work in the community for nearly 15 years,” he added.
Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity has two other homes nearing completion and five more homes planned to start in 2020.
This is the third year of the Veteran Build program.
