14th & Florida intersection to close for waterline replacement

Starting Monday, Sept. 21, the intersection of East 14th Street and Florida Avenue will be closed for Missouri American Water to make repairs/replacements to a main line in the area.

Work is expected to take 2 days. Detours will be in place to get around the closed intersection.

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the work area.

The City of Joplin appreciates drivers’ patience as this project is completed.
