Missing Fort Scott man believed to be drowning victim

A body found in Lake Fort Scott Monday afternoon appears to be that of a missing 19-year-old. Raymond Harper of Fort Scott went missing Sunday while kayaking on the lake. His friends were able to find the kayak but were unable to find Raymond. After hours of searching late into the night into Monday afternoon, authorities found the body of a man believed to be Harper’s. An autopsy has been scheduled to confirm his identity.
