Hawley says no to Supreme Court
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley says while he’s honored that President Trump included him on a list of potential U-S Supreme Court nominees, it’s an honor that he “will not take him up on.”
Hawley, who was elected to the Senate in 2018, says judges should not legislate from the bench. Hawley said, ” … he’s continued to work to try to get pro-Constitution judges who will not waver, who will not be imperialists and impose their own views”
Hawley says he has NO interest in a U-S Supreme Court appointment, and that Missourians elected him to fight for them in the Senate. Hawley unseated Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill in 2018.
