Fatality accident near Joplin

A man from Joplin dies in a single vehicle accident near Joplin at approximately 530 yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

An SUV driven by 33-year-old Troy Key of Joplin was south on Reinmiller Road about 3 miles south of Joplin when he drove off the right side of the road and then returned to the roadway. That’s when the vehicle started to skid, went off the left side of the road, hit a ditch and overturned.

Key suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. His Passenger 30-year-old Jose D. Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene.
